Published on Friday, November 20, 2009 by James Prestwich

During the last few years, Walt Disney World has used up millions of dollars on the up-gradation of the park. They have introduced state-of-the-art rides. Below are the top 10 rides in the Disneyworld:

* Space Mountain (Magic Kingdom): Space Mountain was built in’75 and has always been a preferred ride amongst park guests. Just similar to a lot of other Disney rides, the excitement starts earlier than the rider enters into the coaster. A huge part of the line provides visitors an option to view the glow-in-the-dark rocket-shaped cars snaking in the region of the pathway in an absolutely dark area. The riders enjoy a rapidly moving thrill on the ride and they cannot even spot the person sitting in front of them.

* Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (Magic Kingdom): Even though this ride was built during’80s, but it is a must-ride till today for the majority of the park guests. This ride is an easier version of rollercoaster. Riders take a tour on the train; its cars have names like U.R. Bold and I.M. Fearless.

* Space Ranger Spin of Buzz Light year (Magic Kingdom): Riders associate this ride with Star Command, and enjoy this ride a lot since it is related to two very famous movies Toy Story. Evil Emperor Zurg has to be hit by riders using laser guns to shoot their targets.

* Astro Orbiter (Magic Kingdom): As the name suggests comprises of the whole orbit of planets, which show a lunar view of tomorrow’s land. Rocket shaped cars move in and out of the planets, which make the ride emerge to be stirring much faster than it is.

* Astro Orbiter (Magic Kingdom): This ride provides an astrophysical outlook of the Tomorrow’s Land. The contest features an iron loom with the projecting planets. The rocket shaped cars get in and out of the planets that makes the ride appear to be moving much quicker than it is. * Primeval Whirl (Animal Kingdom): This ride was built in 2002, this ride seems to be the best ride for babies; however, in actuality adults enjoy it the most. A cheerful, vibrantly coloured coaster takes you in the past to check if a meteor killed the dinosaurs in reality, or not.

* Expedition Everest (Animal Kingdom): This ride was built in 2006. It is the tallest coaster of Disney world, and one of its most recent rides. It takes riders on a train tour all the way through a “forbidden mountain” that happens to be ruled by a Sasquatch! It is one of the uncommon rides that traverse backward and forward.

* Expedition Everest (Animal Kingdom): This ride is one of the latest inventions of the Disney World and involves going backward and forward, which is quite unusual. It is considered to be the tallest coasted in the world constructed in 2006, and takes its riders along an expedition of a prohibited mountain owned by the Sasquatch.

* Dinosaur (Animal Kingdom): Riders get a tour through the period of dinosaurs, and meet some ferocious looking animals. It tends to be a dark, rough ride, and is similar to the Primeval Whirl, but not suited for babies. This ride was built in’98 and also quite interesting for dinosaur lovers.

* Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster (Hollywood Studios of Disney): This is a fast coaster ride covering about 58km in about 2.8 seconds. It comprises of a black field, no neon indictors and it is fully covered. This 1 minute ride has Aerosmith music playing at the background, and has two inversions.
